In 2013 Australian New York City resident Yael Stone played inmate 'Lorna Morello' in Orange Is the New Black. Yael received her NIDA diploma. Yael despite her young years, has had the opportunity to learn from the most famous storytellers in Australia. Yael's professional career is thriving throughout Australia. A continuing collaboration with Australia's much-lauded director Neil Armfield culminated in the internationally-renowned production Diary of a Madman, in which she starred opposite Academy- Emmy- and Tony Award-winning actor Geoffrey Rush. Yael's new life in New York City began when her show was critically-acclaimed by the Brooklyn Academy of Music. Yael created The Cannery with her co-founders. The Cannery encourages innovative writing, and creative endeavors in its Bushwick studio.
