Srushti began to prepare herself for the UPSC examination in her 3rd year as an engineering student. After her graduation she was unsure if she could be happy working in an engineering position. After realizing her dream that she had, she set out to work in civil service. The parents of her insisted that she study for civils and make an impact in the community. Her motivation never waned, and remained focused solely on her goal of becoming an IAS. To be able to pass UPSC to be a reality the hard work of a lifetime is required. Within a little over a month and half it was time to prepare for her engineering exam and completely avoided all social media. She believes that focusing solely on what needs to be done is essential to pass this exam. She was committed to passing the exam and put in a lot of amount of work. In order to stay up-to-date on current affairs, she used to regularly read papers. On the internet, she gathered various study materials and watched Rajya Sabha TV.
